Hey Guys,

currently looking into using a delco ecu in my vk with the 5.0 V8 .

However, I want to remap the ecu. I already have the software but I need the board to connect into my laptop to write the new map

Does anyone know of a supplier of these boards pls..

Any info will be appreciated

Ghost.

Google MOATES. You don't really need a board though. The easiest way is to buy an Eprom/EEprom writer with the correct socket to suit the Memcal's chip. You can use an EEprom and erase the rom electrically or buy a UV eraser and use the original Eprom. You can also make up a jumper setup that allows you to program the Eprom in place in the memcal or solder in a socket so you can remove the rom from the memcal. Just ask at Moates.net and they'll help you.

Agree with all replies above

My 2 cents

Willem GQ4 programmer $50 includes software for pc and USB cable

EEPROMs avail @ $2 each

Cals (.bin files for all vehicles) avail online free

Software to read and modify code - free online

desolder and remove the original chip from the memcal and replace with a reusable socket type.

Tune your heart away..........
