So the old 3in diam tailshaft that I took out of my car which the sandblasters damaged beyond repair, would the uni ends be useful to someone? I was just going to cut it in half and stick it in the wheelie bin.

If it were me I'd lop the ends off and save them

Hainsy, it is centre of uni to centre of uni. I got 1276 mm that way.  I'll put it up in the car uncut and check out the loop to make sure it fits.

i think i have a V8 Lh/lx tailshaft it is the following number son the end 26-203, what do they mean

So you have a 355 & you want to save a few $ by recycling a 40 yo tailshaft ? 

 

Why not protect your investment & splurge on a nice new heavy wall piece of pipe ?
