jee guys let the Kid enjoy hes torana and support the v8 to 6 swap.

who wants to drive a shitbox hyundai etc around?

most of us had a toranas in our early teens and still own one now.

not everyone is going to drive like a idiot and destroy there car.

also todays hoon laws make it so much less fun than it use to be.

i remember getting down to the local carpark down the street every friday sat nights just for the burnouts

and donuts with the cops driving passed, no one every got done for it back then..

remember how fun it was, easy to work on, etc...

if i was closer UCKID id come give you a hand with the work and teach you as much as i can along the way..

be patient and enjoy every bit of it mate.

Thanks Heeps Jason :) yeah the laws these days are heeps strict with old cars :/. I was planing to swap it over Saturday but in Wollongong its ment to be poring down and my cars outside :( ( yes I know I shouldn't have it left outside but that's the only place I can keep it :/ )

The worse thing you can do is let an "old" car sit outside,if you plan on letting it sit for a prolonged period in the great outdoors, expect it to rust out from the inside.

The 8 that it came with may not be the option considering the license/rules/regs etc.(i think we went through power to weight ratios before?)

it will last longer being driven around even with a smaller engine...but that will mean you will keep it tidy regardless on a bit of upkeep etc.

If you can devise a way to keep most of the elements off the car (cheap but effectively), specially during the night it will last longer...

Other than that,do the swap so that you can get around in it as you wish to do and learn a bit along the way, then do the 8 conversion.

but then again ..even though cubes=hp,i would do up a six while driving the thing around and slot in the new one later on...you would be surprised at how an even

half healthy asmatic six performs in one those things?
