Hi does anyone know the difference between LJ engine mount brackets and HQ.

I brought Tuff mounts and they don't fit. Checked the part numbers and they are different . They and I assumed the were the same. Worked with spacers on the block but extractors wont fit with spacers.

They are helping me just checking the differences so the new one will be right.

Thanks Paul.

My mate bought HQ/LX-SB chev Tuff mounts and had the same problem. No problems with the the $50 eBay Chinese mounts but does with the Tuff mounts. The company was very helpful but NFI why they don't fit which is bullshit. He fitted washes to lift the engine up about a 1/4 inch, they will come loose.

Found the issue they were made for EH and the rubber mounts are 10 mm shorter.
He is going to make new ones and send to me.
Did your mate contact them, they were very helpful and keen to resolve my problem.

EH ones are narrower where they bolt to the Xmember.
I doubt they will fit HQ or big Torana.

Atleast they are aware of the differencs and it should help getting future orders correct.
What are the tuff mounts worth if you dont mind me asking?
Cheers

My mate has spoken to them but that didn't fix the problem, reason for spacers.

Received the new mounts posted to me for free . They fit good now, no spacers bolt straight on.
