Have a look through Dane's build thread on his sunburst xu-1, he replicated that on his. It's still on mine but is too faint and too far around the side to photograph.

BTW the Lc's have a different code, "SM" followed by the date must be for Lj's only.

Yeah got pics somewhere of the original font,would have to scroll though quiet a few photos tho.

From memory the font was still in good nick.

Hi Dane, would be very very much appreciated when you get the chance please mate ! I will try & pull my finger out & get this email fixed soon as possible & i could just get you to pm them if you like ??? I'd love to see all your factory markings on your car. I just really like seeing cars with them on looks great imo. Thanks for your help so far, Gary.

Does anyone know what's happened to Dane's build thread? I haven't been able to find it myself and would like to check how this date code goes. I was only able to make out 3/4 of it on my steering column before I stripped it.
