carefully lift up the lining and put a bracket over rod just above hole  screw each side to clamp it.thats what i done to mine ages ago.worked

id say the hole is slagged out or lining isnt tight

Hello Darren,

Must get more wind in the zone above the lining to push it down,

maybe a door upper rubber seal allowing this to happen?

Nice trouble-shooter.  B)

ive heard all kinds of reasons why this happens.air coming up side of front window a frame, boot not sealed propper.plug holes missing in boot

And dudes saying opening the rear quarter windows stops it.

The real question is has anybody experience this with a factory headlining which made of vinyl of cause. Not cloth & still has umtamped lugs in place!

If it's coming down on a bow you may have to change the hole the bow is in. Each bow has two holes on each a top & bottom so you may to look at that.
If it's one if the wire sections it could be a dodgy lug. If that's the case I usually use a flat head screw to hole it up.
