Personally I think the choices are rubber or SuperPro if you want Polyurethane. I wouldn't trust any of the other brands of Polyurethane bushes.

I don't see a problem with Polyurethane on the outrigger bushes and rubber everywhere else but I also don't see any benefit either.

When I bought the rare spares crossmember kit a year ago or thereabouts it came with the front crossmember to chassis rubbers as well as outrigger bushes in rubber. Good quality product.

I've used the kingswood country kit with the urethane outrigger bushes. No issues at all.
Fitted up easily.

DId you have any issues with the sleeves in the Kingswood country outrigger bush not fitting the standard 7/16 bolt? I am currently having this issue.

Brett, from what I've seen the idea behind the non rubber bushes in the outrigger is the movement & it's the main pressure point in the front suspension. Basically it affects braking & steering more than anything. I'm a fan of the whiteline brand myself, so i possibly will fit them to the outriggers. Gary.

Gary what your saying does make perfect sense, your opinion is appreciated ,it's a shame there's not a general consensus ,about certain things
( for want of a different word ) when it comes to these cars ,it would save a lot of trial and error and streamline the research processes for everyone

Hi Gary, I used the Super Pro outrigger bushes in mine and they are the only urethane bushes in my suspension. They are one piece same as the original bushes.

Come to think of it that was around 30 years ago and they are still going strong.

Super Pro :spoton:

Gee Brett, you understood that on the first go, most people need a different explanation of things, it's hard to know how to word things sometimes. Glad it made sense mate. The bushes are 2 piece nowadays for ease of changing when worn & it does help & speed it up. Dave I've seen a fair bit of success with the whiteline so i like to use them, super pro is a elastomer style product similar though. Gary.
