The Autometer Sport-Comp guages don't look too far off the originals.
Here's the fitup. http://www.gmh-toran...e-2#entry771306

As far as my reading of the rules for Group N cars the dash with the Autometer Gauges fitted is not legal. Better to run it past an eligibility officer before you go to a race meeting and getting Logged for it.

Sorry if I interpreted it incorrectly. Maybe now I will change my gauges and get rid of the rotten aluminium extra panel. It doesn't look good. And is impracticle.

Now that I've suitably embarrased myself and probably peed off a few people, could I ask what the model and if possible the part numbers are for the instruments in the panel for the XU1's
many thanks
Peter.

How do you adapt the sender units for fuel, oil and water temp?

piquet, my records show part numbers as follows. They are all Autometer Sport-Comp and not sure which ones are which gauge, you'll need to google or plug them into the Summit site for further info.
3987-M, 3327, 3337-M, 3317, 3391, 3991.
If I recall correctly the -M ones are the speedo and the temp gauge.
rtorana1, pretty sure the oil and temp sender units were purchased with the gauges, they were under $20 each. Any 0-30 Ohm fuel gauge will work with the original sender.

Some further info, the speedo listed above is electronic so would also need a VSS in the gearbox or a cable adaptor. I believe mechanical versions are available also.

you will need an electronic speedo as there is no room for a cable, the torana cable goes in on an angle whereas the autometer ones go in straight
