But I've found in the GMH workshop manual it recommends AC Delco 44T plugs.
Going by a spark plug cross reference chart online, a 44T is equal to BR5FS.
I'm running a stock dizzy with Pertronix electronic ignition module and a stock coil, and I'm Not using the resistance wire.
Should I perhaps be running BP5FS instead?

How do your plugs look now?
What make you think you heed a hotter plug?

AFIK BP5FS is recommended for standard cars and BP6FS is for SLR5000. Probably more due to intended driving style, as Holden used the same basic motor right across the range bar L34.

I fouled a plug or two just recently as the car was doing many short trips, such as out of the shed, onto a tow truck, off a tow truck back on a tow truck, into the shed, out of the shed for a wash, back into the shed etc etc... it was running on the Auto-Choke every time. And during the course of its 1400 klms that Ive done it, its only ever done short trips around town.
The GMH Workshop manual suggests 44T plugs which seem to cross reference over to a 5 temp rating plug. My motor is has a cam, but otherwise stock intake/exhaust and gets driven sedately.

Yeah I seen a set of 8 on Ebay for $150....
Id just like to know what the temp rating actually is for a 44T? Is it comparable to a 5 or a 6??????????
