Hi, My first post on here. I am just wondering about battery trays on the Lc torana's. I have a xu.1 and the rusty tray was removed several years ago. I found a really good one off a Lj and I'm thinking it may not clear the tripple carbys, My cars engine is removed, so it is a bit hard to gauge. The rare spares replacement one seems nothing like what I remember and the drain hole doesn't line up. From memory my car didn't have the side support bracket welded to the rail, but that was a long time ago. I was wondering if anyone with a genuine car could inform me.

Thanks.

Goodaye all

l have a reasonable original here that was cut with the chassis rail still attached and still has the support.

Also have a rarespares one.

The rarespares one is smaller as for a smaller battery.

l also have under the house a  HKTG one that looks very simaler to the original one.

regards Bruce
