If you go inland from rocky there is a fuel station every hour or so. Cant comment from further north but pretty sure the punters from up there head to rocky then turn in, as last time I went I overtook some northern lads.

Disappointed to hear this was only 1/8th mile... What's a quick time over that length ?

Divide what you would call a quick 1/4 time by 1.555 and you have your answer.

A 7.5sec 1/8 mile equates to an 11.66 1/4 time.
It's not exact but it's what is used.

Ignoring the theory, what do the quickest 6cyl street cars do at the six bangers ?

Why is it disappointing?

Well, its the "six banger nationals", I assume the premiere event in Aus for sixes... but they only race on half a track...

Not exactly correct Gerry,

the 1/4 mile was 1320 feet long, and because racers have exceeded the recommended speeds,

the Track is now only 1000 feet long.

The 6 Bangers on the other hand are so fast, their Track is only 660 feet long.  :3gears:

Skap is also in with a chance.  :tease:

It is cause 6 bangers won't last the quarter mile :stirpot:

1/4 mile will always be 1320 feet, they've shortened the track for the top level drag racers but I'm sure if you went to an ordinary street meet you'll run the full 1/4? I haven't been since the change.
