Found myself a LJ to buy but it doesn't have the numbers in the inner guard, which in think has been replaced at some point in its life, it has all 3 tags and previous rego papers however it's not registered ATM , does anyone have experience with this scenario ? Will I be able to get it reregistered? Or leave it.

I doubt it would be a huge issue re rego.

Might be a bit of a pain in the ass when you go to resell it, but meh, its a pain in the ass for the current owner to so it should be cheap enough.

Cheers.

Hi Adam

I'm interested to know if the LJ in question is a Brissy build. Also is it an S, SL, GTR or XU1?

Cheers

Dave.

Hi Dave
I'm pretty sure it's an S I'd have to go back and get all the details not sure which plant it came from. It's definitely not a gtr or xu1 just a mock up.

In WA they the rego crowd would provide you with a new number and plate to attach , generally not much of a problem her,e with previous documentation,
