Hi guys I am wanting to make a flat panel dash to put aftermarket gauges into. I gave seen quiet a few but was wondering where and how you attached them. I do not want any visible screws.

Any ideas or templates would be awesome.

Leigh

Should have mentioned it is an LH I am working on.

I made mine to fit neat top and bottom, and slip up behind the dash pad. That way the dash pad hols it in at the top.
On the bottom I welded a bolt to the panel so I could reach up and put nut on each.
When it gets to the glovebox on a standard dash, it returns in and has two screws to fix it back. I did the same and kept my glove box and side vent.

I will post a photo shortly.

Hope that made sence :)

Not everyone's cup of tea, but a bit different to the flat plate the whole way along.
It works for me ;)

Now I've shown you mine, once you have done yours, you have to show us!!

You could always trim an old broken dash and just glue a flat plate on top if fixing with screws and bolts ain't your thing.
