Fiction.

Holden's were a carriage builder and made some car bodies prior to starting to build their own cars.

At some point GM got involved, not sure when, can't be bothered googling lol.

Would you believe the front blinkers on all early LH are to low. They fail to meet ADR height rules.
Ever wonder why the A9X had a gap between the spoiler and the blinker, well that's why, they had to raise the height of the blinker.
The tooling for the spoiler was developed for the L34 and all L34 were built before the design blunder was realised. Holden didn't re-tool tthe spoiler for the change hence the gap.
