It is unbelievable how much rust has turned up in that body. I have a mint LX in the shed that I was going to roll the guards on and give it a re-spray, but now I am thinking about pulling it apart.

I can’t believe it either Laurie it shows how much rust can be hiding beyond the outer skin.

I’d be looking a little deeper into the LX at those known rust areas before getting to far into painting it

The rear beaver panel from Aussie Restos was welded up to the replacement rear panel that I purchased through Greg from Classic Oz Wreck, John replaced a few other pieces of the rear panel that had any signs of rust.
