If you order belts through Rare Spares check with the store you are dealing with which brand they stock.

There are 2 brands, Hemco and APV (Klippan), they both have the same belts as the original ones but you have to do some research to get the correct ones.

Rares have just asked their supplier which belts they need and it looks like the supplier has gone for a generic belt, unfortunately those belts aren't the same as the original ones.

If you want the Hemco belts. ( Only 1 store that i know of sell's them and are cheaper than the APV ones when i bought them), ask for the belt number with the buckle number.

If you want the APV belts.

I hope this helps others, it caused me a big headache when i started down the rear seat belt path but a few phone calls and emails to Edan and everything was sorted.

I can't thank Edan enough for his help and understanding with my dilemma, he was all to happy to help and sort it out with me.

If you want the retractable belts that go on top of the parcelshelf you will need the K1511 belts that have the 275mm fixed buckle, you have a choice of belt lengths as well.

I am assuming you have the 275mm fixed web buckle like mine, measure from the end of the buckle to the centre of the hole in the anchor plate to get the length.

You also have a choice of belt lengths, 3.2m (long) would be K1511-L, 2.6m (standard) would be K1511 and 2.0m (short) would be K1511-S.

I work for a trimmer in Sydney and have just installed seat belts to a customers LX. The belts came from Rare Spares Sydney. The incorrect bolts are supplied so you need to use the original bolts (thread and size is wrong) . And you have to redrill the buckles as the original bolts won't fit. A couple of pictures attached. johnny
