Hi all,

I've had a search through the forums but I can't find anything related to this. Apologies if this is a duplicate thread.

What diameter roll pin is used to pin the rocker post in Yella Terra head on a Holden 186? I've got a cylinder head that hasn't been pinned as yet.

Thanks all in advance,

Russell.

Russell ,If you are running any sort of valve spring tension I definitely wouldn't go for pins .Get the head machined to take screw in studs .The 3/8 pin is prone to breaking where the roll pin is inserted .It weekens it considerably .Got the money for roller rockers? Best to  save a bit more and do it right so you dont drop a rocker at 6500 rpm and it all goes south from there .
