G'day Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has any details on the above 2 boosters such as:

1. How much boost do they provide?

2. What thread in/out they have for the hydraulic lines.

3. how much stroke volume does the cylinder have on them?

4. Does anyone have ones of them for sale?

one thing i can tell you is that it is a booster, it has no lines connected to it.
the booster is the black thing mounted usually on the firewall infront of the driver and has the brake master cylinder mounted to it.
some of these boosters can be remotly mounted and have turned up under floors in trucke and in the boot of cars.
some early holdens even had them mounted on the opposite side of the engine bay for clearence issues.

VH44 are the smaller units and VH40 are the larger
Both have 3/8 unf threads for both inlet and outlet

Heres a table of input vs output pressures that might help you

Thanks Datto, that is exactly what I was looking for.

Are these boosters linear in their operation throughout their range? i.e. if the input pressure is half what is shown in the table, is the output pressure is also half?
