I was thinking about it.

Might head down, between nightshift and dayshift, so non committal at this stage, but would be something to see, and great to catch up.

Could depend on temp - forecasting a hot one for the weekend - and my air conn (rotating controlled, quad, silica based) does not work well in hot weather.
Yeah I am a wimp I know........

Saying 29 now, I reckon its a goer.
May depend how burnt I get from Saturday morning tee-ball though whether I go or not.

Yup weather looking a lot better - pretty sure I will be there....if you see the blue beast - Say hi!!!!!!!!

Same here, if you spot the green machine, come and say g'day.

I might pop up to the end and have a look at the cars
I have another car meet at 10am so won't be able to get in on the cruise itself
But will be out in the Caddy so might cruise to the end

Finally home after a great day, didn't realise when they said North v South they mean't getting to Taylor Park via every Northern suburb in the UBD and Fremantle twice for the Southern blokes, or was that just my mistake for following Mike and Craig????? No, great day, have to catch up again.
Will post some photos as soon as I recover from Heat Stroke!!!
Posted 15 November 2015 - 06:12 PM
No photo's of Craig and Mike's cars, they're still permanently etched on my eyeballs after following them all over Perth!!!
Note to self, next time on run with them pair take passport!!!

Now offering Book of excuses to not go on a run, ever again, first 300 hundred might include references to Craig and Mike's Navigation skills!! And another about a poor Torana drivers experience when he was lost and alone, but battled through, against huge odds to actually make it.. Would be great Xmas presents!!!!

Ok now = how come I followed the map - started out befind you guys and ended up in front??
Sreiously tho was fun - Although picking going through freo and the beach run always tests out the clutch and the cooling system - lots of stop starts.......
Note to run organisers - we like to drive - not stop at traffic lights in car queues.
Craig has the right idea when he does a run - head for the hills!
Speaking of which - Hey Craig - If you are reading this are we overdue for a Perth run?

I think you drove past me at Capt Munchies
Was parked up with the Caddy and my mates 65 SS Malibu.... and maybe some Datsuns

Yeah I gave you a wave Neil.
And Jim, don't blame me mate, I was just listening to my navigator and following everyone else (mostly)
Was a great day, but I am knackered.
Got to meet a few new people and catch up with some I've met before.
I don't think we decided what that yellow is Jim, Mark said Jasmine, I thought maybe Saffron, but then decided its more like a warwick yellow, but no idea.
I'm gonna call it 'that pale yellow' until I'm told otherwise.
My favorite part of the cruise was the bit along West Coast Hwy and Marine Tce, nice cool breeze and some great views, lucky I had my little navigator rather than the missus or I might have got in trouble a few times.

This is my mates hatch, I don't think he's on the forum, but you can see him on the right hand side in the tank top.
Known him for probably 30 years, played all sort of sports together when we were kids and went to the same high school.
This is about the 3rd time i've seen him in 21 years, never knew he was into Torana's until I caught up with him and some other school mates about a year ago, and this is the first time I've seen his beast.
He recently put a 355 stroker in it and it looks pretty good with the gold Simmons.

Was a bit hot and bothered by the time we got there lol.

He needs to train his missus NOT TO BLOODY LEAN ON CARS!
(Sorry, a pet hate)

In her defense I only saw her leaning on his car and he didn't seem to mind.

His paint was almost as bad as mine. Not sure it would have made a great deal of difference....
