Am curious to find out if the screws under the dash pad have speed nuts or the like to secure into.

The dash structure seems to have a slotted (squarish) hole for the screws.

Are the screws available anywhere, hard to get pan head screws anywhere, especially in black.

No.10 - 16 X 3/4 means???

Interested myself, as all mine are missing. From memory they weren't black.

I'm sure a local nut and bolt shop would have something similar?

Maybe 16 gauge for scrapping screws and 3/4" long

I have some of these in a bag of 'dash' parts and screws.
Could be the ones

They are just black pan head screws. Supercheap Auto sells them in packs. That RSP kit does not included the speed clips that the screws thread into.

I think they just screw into the slots without any fasteners or clips.

I did not find any clips in the bag of bits I have so I hope they are not needed

I have 7 of them but that does not mean there are only 7 and I do not have the dash pad here to check

Just redid my dashpad.

And yes there are screws - obvious - but there are also fittings that look like the door card fastners. Although must be next size up. They slide into the dash pad and then the pad clips into place. Then the screws go in.

The rare spares link is spot on.

I would venture to suggest that most dash pads are put back just with the screws...

Can you remember if you used speed nuts or similar on yours Brad?
Parts diagram doesn't show anything.

Dont mind me sorry... Im leading you astray... I think I was thinking of the speed clips for the glovebox hinges.....

Looking at my pics, yes, there is just a slot in the dash. I used black pan head screws from Super Cheap Auto.

The clips go into the slots plus screws

Cheers guys, found my pad is cracked internally when I have gone to fit it.
Long story but thank you airline baggage handlers. A***holes.
See my WANTED advert if you can help out.
Not getting good news from the couple of dash repairers I have contacted.
(from those who have bothered to get back to me)
So next step buy an already good to go one or go through the process of getting another one done.
