Hi I'm new to this forum.

It's probably a stupid question but does any one know if there is any possible way that I can get a LC licenced in Wa with a 6.2L v8?

I know this exceeds the dpi engine size specifications by quite a bit but I have stumbled across a brand new LS376/525 crate engine and was hoping with enough engineering I could do the mod.

You might just get away with it in a LH/LX but don't think so in a LC

I was thinking might be poissible with an engineer for ls 4.8 or 5.3l.Assuming you can find one to give you the ok & roads transport will clear it but who knows for certain.

Guys have got all clear for 4.2 & 5.0 holden engines few got 327ci chevs go ahead with engineers.

Good thing if ls iron 4.8 or alloy 5.3 is passed they can be bored out same as 5.7l 346ci ls1 same crank etc or posibly 383 stroker.Just guesswork for now not legwork.

Last option is pay good money for engineered/regoed chev torana already done then rebuild it completely way you want.

Grab the engine and find a car to put it in!
Like a nice HQ.

You'd want to do a kingy justice LSA would be way to go for a little more money.

Not a chance.

Now go slap yourself across the face, then have a good, long, hard look at yourself in the mirror, then go start researching how to build a hot six.

I was thinking a coupe, but nothing wrong with a nice HQ Kingswood, or even a Premier.

Some motors can be disguised as a smaller ci, but the smallest of that gen is 5.3 litre?

Good luck Sam.

Iron block 4.8 is smallest but apparently easy to mix up a 5.3 & 4.8 untill you pull them apart or just grab junker iron block.

Also some 'aftermarket' iron blocks dont come with engine numbers...

Cranks same just bore them out to make 5.3 or 5.7 or really adventurous can go stroker kit. Ls1/5.7ltr is bore 10 thou then throw away or resleeve gamble.
