Yep went for a 100 km drive yesterday , ran great no issues, running too rich though (10.5 afr), mikuni have sent me new jets to suit . I just had to give them the afr over the whole rev range. They r very smooth to dive with , starts way easier . Engine has a different note and idles better. Over all I'm very happy with the conversion, it was quiet expensive to do but the results are worth it I believe . New jets will go in Monday than dyno run to compare against the su carbs, after that the cam and head will b changed out for more compression

I also had to lean mine out heaps from how they were delivered. From memory the idle jets were the leanest they sold.

What have you done with the small overflow drain hose from the bottom of the fuel bowl?

Hi Pete . Mate I just ran them with the other overflow hoses to the ground. And yep primary jets r the lowest and slowly going down the main jet to find optimum afr

Afr ratios are close enough for a dyno power run to compare against the su carbs. And it's booked for next Saturday Morning, when I get home I've just gotta change out the needles and a bit of tuning than see how she goes

Are u running just a solid or a roller cam? I can't remember it's been I while since I read this thread.
Have u swapped your head out yet? What static comp number did the combo give you?
