Hi, I am replacing the hood lining on a LH torana.  There are two holes where the heavy cross rods are located in the cant rail inner. Q1. does the rod go in the top or bottom hole and Q2 if it is bottom holes it there a clip that goes in the top hole to keep the rod located.  I never removed the roof lining and have no idea about the clips and I cant find it in the manual I have.  Can anyone assist with advice or photos.  Regards Gary.

Believe there was a service bulletin that said the white tip rod was replaced by an orange tipped (or vice versa) and the rod should be in the upper. Best wait for confirmation from another.

LH Manual shows it in the top hole.  The rod colours mentioned in the manual in order of front to back are ...white, white, black(or natural), white and green.  Service Bulletin may have changed this but dont have that. Hope this helps

Here's the service bulletin. White was replaced by orange.
