The photo I posted
It has a LJ XU1 rear seat
Can't argue with that, it does indeed have an LJ 82911 rear seat, but where are the LJ 82911 front seats with head rests?

Well the sticker that says OK on the bottom of that Drivers side, Side window is the same as the pic I posted up on the Number 16 Car, is it not.
Posted 06 March 2016 - 06:08 PM
I think it is also closer to the pillar .........
Posted 06 March 2016 - 06:39 PM
I disagree. Number 16 the OK sticker is applied level, on the other pics of the Peter Shearer sponsored car it's on an angle.
Those 'OK' stickers were applied after 'The Cams' had scrutinized and OK'ed the car???

yep...they are a dime a dozen on old race cars...nothing special about an OK sticker, imho
The exact, but randomly slapped on, placement on the window may tell something, but as you say Dave, normally it just signifies that it passed scrutineering as being OK (just before they snuck it back into the garage and tweaked it!, ha ha )

Would they do that Col ??????

good to see you lurking Wayne....
I was only 1/2 joking .....I always find it a little funny that cars are scrutinised at say 07:30, and may not race until after lunch or even the next day.
Only some outstanding result will call for a protest and possible inspection after the event.
Sure scrutinising is about safety inspection as much as about class rules and stuff,.... just find it interesting.
Scrutineering has been done like it for years, so it must work well enough.
Bit like a maths teacher checking a kids pockets on a Tuesday for a banned calculator, then saying "" now, make sure you dont put a calculator in your pocket for Wednesdays test, as there will be no checks tomorrow"".

The LC gtr series production car and later turned 308 sports sedan was sold to Graham Coutts and then Barry Wraith who fitted a 289 ford engine then a 5 litre chev engine and later a 350 chev . Barry Wraith fitted huge flares to accomodate 15x10 hotwires . the car is alive and well
