Yes, not many around, I think I paid $50 off dumbtree earlier this year as didn't want the ugly rubber stoppers/clamps plus they were interfering with anodised/braided clamps.

Are you still running a heater? If so where are you connecting your hoses to?

No heater, trying to de-clutter the engine bay. if I really need one will put in an electric "hot rod" style one under the dash

Looking great Paul. The clean white bay looks sweet as. What sort of inline fuel filter are you running, are they any finer microns then the plastic Ryco style ?
You must be getting itchy feet to get this puppy rolling

Hey Trev, not sure which filter is finer, looks like plastic one is to me. You're right, can't wait to get car on the road, has been a long journey and still not there. Panel beater mate made a panel to cover access hole in firewall. We decided to keep L & R sides 45d so that it didn't look to "boxy" I used the bonnet scoop analogy. Cheers Paul

Started putting interior back together. Old bike tube was perfect thickness for rear 1/4's. Carpets have been installed and next will be putting bucket seats back together and installing.

Car is finally back on all four wheels and interior finished. Was a bit worried about size and style of wheels but I thinks they look pretty good with Glacier White Jobs to do: Rectify bonnet sitting high at back. install wipers and get washers working. Finish and install grill. Re-fit front bumper and headlight surrounds. Knock door pins all the way in and trim excess off. (One thing I've noticed is how much doors have dropped once of car stands!)
Repair, polish and paint rear indicator surrounds, and once stage 4 lockdown finishes in Melb, tow to my brothers place who has a hoist and fit exhaust.....and did I mention get engine running again to balance and tune carbies, plus a lot of other little fiddly jobs.

Thanks Harvey! I also forgot: clean, polish and fit chrome drip rail trims. External mirrors (tossing up between silver Torana style, or GT tear drop style colour coded to body) plus I had better fit some seat belts I suppose before goes in for RWC?

Have been waiting for restrictions to relax in Melbourne so I can take the Torana to my brothers place who has the luxury of 2 hoists in his garage to fit exhaust and get gbrakes working. In the meantime I repainted and decorated garage ready to house the torry when finished. (the car looks so much smaller than I remember!)
