When installing the choke into the dash what holds it in place?

The parts book only shows a cable assy and a grommet SP2500 which I suspect is a firewall grommet.

Is there a clip which fits in behind the dash?

Any help or tips?

Whilest we are talking dash knobs.

The park brake release rod has a spring. I will post in wanted to hopefully find one.

PM me if you have a spare lying about.

Also is there any other bushes or what not which goes through the L shaped release mechanism cut out?

I notice your car has flares. If you're building a replica of the V8 versions; check to see if they even came with a choke.

My SL/R has a black plastic blank where the choke knob would be. I believe it had an electric choke from factory.

Cheers Steve, I know the V8 had auto choke.
Mine is not really a replica of any particular model just making it with all the bits I like.
The carb I am using is a full manual choke set up.
