Just about finished restoring my 1971 LC Torana and have two plates as in the picture,  not sure where they are to be fitted?  I'm guessing they are interior pieces. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Gary

Hmmmm, I can't quite put my finger on it but I think you might be missing some other sort of metal plates or metal of some description from that general area also??!!

Seriously though Gary, on an unmodified version your plates screw to the box section (albeit slightly different) pictured, where it meets the inner sill. You should see factory screw holes and it will make sense.

Hi Dave  its a four door, Nicely done Maz. Thanks Adam I will have a look around that area, though the plates come in a box with front  seat parts. Had the seats redone and they were not needed , I'm still thinking they belong inside the cab , Floor maybe,  or from the rear seat?  Cheers Gary

100% they have nothing to do with the front seats. They locate under the base of the rear seat. If it werent for carpet, they would be partly visable between the seat base and scuff plate/sill. If you dont install them your carpet wont sit right....

Spot on. They are floor mat/carpet supports.
