My first car was I drove legally was a VE wagon , slant 225 balanced

and it went well, clocked twice at 110 mph once when a 307 chev lh torana

was catching up, handled like a val, but was a great car

Coast surf trips every year / drive ins,  back gate down / mattress fitted in back

and it had mum made side curtains,

Good times newcastle of course, skyline, gateshead and heddon greta  drive ins

As a saver I have been to the drive in in my torana with the holden and ford clubs

on a drive night in the last ten or less years :-) I need another one I sold it

uz

1983, orange N.S.W, HR sedan big powerful 161 high comp, finned rocker cover, twin Strombies, extractors, HQ 3 speed, classic speco shifter, tiny little go cart steering wheel, no clearance bump stop/steer suspension, drum brakes, 13 x 7 widies and to scare off all other red light challengers a much needed Holly equipped sticker.
