Haha cheers potta.. vid doesn't show how damp the track actually was. .the v8 boys were struggling. The mustang is darryl hansens, an absolute awesome car.. you'll never see a torana pull that off with him again haha.

 

Yeah I'm sure it was, I did about 6 hours driving on Saturday and had my wipers on for most of it.

Well found out reason for the noise which initially i thought was engine related..but after some more checks determined was either box or diff. Turns out few of the experienced guys made the call early in the weekend about conditions destroying a few diffs and axles. .

Theory is with the significant drying race line with wet remaining track, causing irregular torque to varying tyres. . Might be bs , but I've never done diff in 10 years. Walked outta the shed laughing (mostly out of relief i wasn't losing my marbles)

Yeah grant she started as an lc then had the lj bits attached.. both my cars were same deal.
