Hey all,

Just as an FYI.

As some may know I've had my build on the go for nearly16 + years and in the early days I as pretty keen and bought a bunch a stuff from rare spare including my full body rubber kit. I still continue to this day to buy RSP resto gear for my ride.

Now as a lot would know, over the years there's been a few versions and releases of various body rubbers with some being better than others......

I recently got my seal kit out and found that I too was subject to less than ideal rubbers and wasn't able to use a lot of these expensive items for one reason or another..

I would like to say a massive thankyou to the RSP dealer/store at Geebung in Brisbane who is now the current owner of he store after buying It off the guy I bought my kit off umpteen years ago.

I identified my issue and he took it on board and spoke with the head office.

Couple of weeks later I had brand new seals to swap out the so-so ones. The new ones look and feel a treat.

I paid the freight it we're all square.

Thankyou RSP Love your work !

I too owe a debt of gratitude to Rares. I mentioned on this forum that I had paid money to a certain fibreglass company for a rear spoiler which was never sent. Instead all I got was strange abuse from them. Les from rare spares then took it upon himself to send me totally free of charge, a perfect rares spoiler, as he didnt like hearing stories of people getting ripped off. He also said he didnt want any publicity for it, but I think good deeds are worth mentioning!

What a top bloke. Cheers Les.

I agree, I think the few negatives stores you hear get too much air time versus the success stories that no one ever talks about. There are so many basic items that they sell that you cant get anywhere else. We are very lucky to have them.

We really appreciate the sentiments here, it made my day when I read this thread but I wan't sure how to reply.

On the flipside we are very lucky to get the support of the car clubs and Torana enthusiast community that make remaking a lot of these parts a possiblity through suggestions, guidance and part sample donation when reverse engineering is required.

I've met some really genuine and knowledgeable people over my short 5 year stint at Rare Spares. Everyday is a learning experience and we still love making parts.

I know that Les also read this thread and had a similar reaction as myself.

Thanks from the team at Rare Spares for continuing to buy our product and supporting us!

Kind Regards

Edan Miller
