Has anyone got a template for the tow point for the a9x torana. Front and rear.

The race car one.

Pretty sure they were made up by the individual owners/mechanics.

Lots of different types.

Towed a few at Oran Park and cant remember any being the same.

I'm curious to see the design Dave is referring to? I've just seen a variety, and I made one that hangs down under the front bumper, and a rear that hands off the chassis rail after I welded some crush tubes into it.

Took me a while to find it but I remembered some threads on tow points some years back.
Here is a thread from 2010: http://www.gmh-toran...mper-tow-point/
There are other threads linked inside that thread.
Hope this is what you are after.
Cheers, TB

Front one looks like an eyelet with a thread going back through the nosecone? Not sure what it would attach to as the bumper bar bracketry does not hang that low?

Well everyone knows the L34's need them for when they break axles. Maybe they would be a better reference?

For a street car I was thinking along the lines of incorporating a big captive nut into each bumper bracket and using removable straps like these...

These ones are made by Macht Schnell Motorsport, cost around $95 (USD?) ea and come in a variety of colours (link)

Pink ones were sold out due to the Hairdressers adding them to their A9X hatchbacks.
I guess they need to accessorise their Hatchbacks.
LOL, sorry Dave.

Don't worry about him Craig. If it weren't for tow points on the back of L34's and the front of A9X's they would never be able to keep up!

They are on the L34 for when we have to tow A9X's out of trouble in reverse. It's not always possible to do it going forward, so we are just planning ahead for the day we tow you out in reverse.

They have to have steel ones on the A9Xs because the hair products keep catching on fire.

This one is almost the same colour as yours Dave!!!!
