I gonna say these guys have a goal of around 9 seconds n/a here. It's pretty close but it'll take time. That gearbox is a big time gain too. Listen how minimal the revs drop between gears, keeping it at its peak, an auto wouldn't keep it that lively down the track.

This car is super cool. I totally admire anyone who can make the old 202 get up & going, especially with a 9 port. And wait till it does run a 9 n/a, the V8 boys will love that.

lenco and liberty gear boxes are a clutchless gearboxes so only use the clutch pedal to launch the car then push the pedal to the floor start pulling the levers down position only for the lenco

Yes I think they will crack 9s at some point. It is a very well engineered unit. I spoke to the CB boys about this car a while back and they were obviously very cagy, but they did suggest that 1/4 mile times have far more to do with chassis tuning than what people give it credit for. How this relates to the white car, well I guess it just says that its a very well thought out unit and all things are working well together.

Also, you notice that the wheels do not look overly big, and the diff does not look overly big. Not sure what its running but I dont think its a 9 inch.

Anyone got any thoughts on how they are managing to feed that motor with meth using HS8s? I was convinced that these small fuel bowls would not be up to task

I know stuff all about the car, but it is not unheard of to adapt (for example) Holley fuel bowls onto HS6 and HS8 carbs, is it?

True that, Kevin has done it, or at least he posted a pic of some that had been converted.
But really anyone with a creative mind can find a solution to a problem given time & money.
I know you can get high flow needle & seats for the hs6's, maybe for the hs8's also? Surely it would need more than that though

Yes but the pick doesn't look like they have done that.

I would be most worried about the line between the float bowl and the jet on a hs8, I kinda assumed they were running hd8s which would mostly alleviate any fuel delivery concerns.

Yes you can, I got some for my HS8s from SU Midel. I only got them for PULP. They said race fuel should be ok but we didn't talk about the possibility of methanol. I just always thought HS8s would not have enough supply for Meth at like 5 or 6:1 ratios.

Yes from the pic it looks like standard HS8 bowls.

Anyone here wanna try my 2 inch SUs on meth to see? I am sure someone will put up their hand lol

Ok so in the pic that I've seen, I'd say they're hs series. If you look closely, you'll notice something welded onto the side of each bowl, something that closely resembles an additional reservoir....

Good spot mate.

Yes they have a small little chamber which looks like its welded to the side of the HS8 fuel bowl- obviously to help give extra capacty for meth...

Yeah it's pretty well disguised in black, and I'm sure there's a couple more tricks hidden in there.
