It still wouldn't be the answer. If you said "Torana" and allowed the 5 wins it'd be swamped by "Commodore" with 23 wins.

Yes, VE has one, VEII has three. Others are all one or two if you go by the sheetmetal and official results. I think VH has two wins by the same actual car. Not sure if VT is the same.

True, but race cars from the General's stable in general haven't been a road going vehicle since L34. Just become less and less so since then.

I think the original Commodore was an Opel, but the original Torana was a Vauxhall!

Confession time. In the late 80s I put banana skins in a JB Camira gearbox when I was selling it. It did seem to make a small difference for a couple of hours. (There is also a diff in there to keep quiet as well.)
