View GarageHave alook out over the next couple of days for some incar stuff from the Winton Festival of speed. The Group N cars had a 50Km/17 lap race on the long circuit.
Les Walsmlsey in the charger won the race.

Yes it is. Les is great mates with Dick Savy.
Les has driven a lot of different cars in our category starting with a Cortina, Torana, Comaro, . He drove an Indycar at the Sandown Historics on year. He's competed in TCM.
Les is now the President of the HTCAV and is a great guy as well.

In my opinion a lot of it is called overdriving. Turn one was interesting. He blamed everyone else for going off the track.
It's got some poke but it should it's an R1600 escort.

Some of the early driving seemed down right dangerous from watching a few of those videos. Always racing for sheep stations on the first lap!
Guy in the escort definitely lacks mechanical sympathy haha. It was buzzing it's arse off the whole race. Overdriving comes to mind, but I reckon he was driving angry from the turn one incident
