I have brought a center console cover for my LH torana from ebay, he sells heaps of theses covers and every one seems happy with them. But im having troubles getting it to fit as it seems like its been over stitched at the front where the corner is. He has told me this is how the torana covers are and my old cover is from a statesman and that's why the new one dose not fit right. I'm pretty sure it is a LH console as all the interior is original.

Can anyone tell me from the pics if the cover he has sent is right for a LH torana?post-510-0-85627100-1472370642_thumb.jpgpost-510-0-44624100-1472370798_thumb.jpg

Those eBay covers wil never fit 100%. You only get what you pay for, try contacting an actual trimmer for a good one.

Yeah from eBay but the guy is a trimmer , has a shop . He is saying there's nothing wrong with he cover, I'm just trying to find out if that's how they should be stitched in the corner as it doesn't look right to me. Been trying to find a pic of another consol to compare but haven't had any luck, hoping someone on here could tell me for sure what if that's right or not.

The cover is stitched wrong and will never fit right. I found out the hard way myself and when I showed the eBay cover to a local trimmer he just laughed at the poor quality work and cheap vinyl used.

Yeah I'm sure it's wrong, the crazy thing is he has sold heaps of these things and has great feedback on all of them, I can't see how any one would be happy with that crapy fit at the front but they are.

Hi there,

It looks a bit loose which could suggest a fittment issue but all is not lost. Given that it's fresh vynil you can re-fit it and here are a few tips, #1 before fitting either spray foam with silicone spray or contact on a small piece of glad wrap around the top/front of pad #2 fold cover with the front corners vynil out but rear section calico out sort of like a condom #3 the fittment starts by adjusting the vynil in those front corners by pulling on the side panels which is where you have to muck around a bit  but if you get that right the rest should be sweet.
