I'm after a manifold gasket to suit the Holden 6. I'm currently using a gasket that I think came from company in QLD( I have misplaced the contact details), it's a blue paper type product, similar to the old orange asbestos ones. In my search I've found plenty out there but most have a joined hole for the exhaust ports instead of 2 separate port holes. The std type gasket isn't suitable as there isn't enough meat after porting the gasket. Any help will be much appreciated.

Warren - If your going to get a few made then we should see if between us a standard order of gasket.

I also had the old red one in the first motor - never let go . then been through a few since - so looking for  along term solution that requires going back to a thicker type in the material.

I rang the bloke as well to inquire and they were about 20.

Thanks S pack, I couldn't find them in my searches, that's what I'm using at the moment which has been there for a couple of years.

i'll check it out tomorrow and give him a call.

I think i still have the old red asbestos one in the garage to send up.

i still have a sheet of the orange asbestos stuff, but it is hard & brittle, it must be 25+ years old.

Good, Runner up at the Bracket meeting on the Saturday but not so good on the Sunday, consistent 7.87@86 mph, but left a little cherry hanging in the 1st round win in the 2nd & 3rd round my reaction time beat me, the up side was that I drove the car off the trailer when I got home, so nothing broken. After some checks today, looks like the clutch is due for replacement only .005" left to the rivets.

The AA "Extractor Gasket" has a common exhaust port instead of a separate ports. Not sure about copper, haven't used it for anything other than a head gasket.

Doesn't have separate exhaust ports, has a common port, defeats the purpose of headers.

When I had the 9 port to 12 port coversion head, I had a lot of trouble with gaskets failing, and I always had to port them myself to match the head ports.
I tried several different products, including NAM30 (?) Similar to that blue material, but the best and I think only product I used that never failed in service was a product from Garlock, which was a carbon faced gasket material.
I supplied them with a template to match my gasket, and they produced a cad file and cut the gaskets for me to match my templates.... it was worth the cost!
They were located out around silverwater in sydney...

And mine blew out after a cupla weeks. Didn't even notice the single holes when I fitted it.
