It should be a cap screw, you need an allen (hex) key

Something like this set is a great investment:

http://www.ebay.com....lpid=107&chn=ps

I have a metric set and imperial set, dont use them often, infact theres several in each set that are still new, but when I do use them they make there purchase price worth while.

and as long as don't bloody loose one kit looks like will last a lifetime

and take it statlers talking from experience haha

now my turn to try to remove 40 year old heat abused bolts i guess

(hope doesn't turn out like the sway bar to chassis mounts... , um, angle grinder)

A good quality allen key should handle it no problems, put a shifter on the end for more torque.

Or the socket set like Bomber suggested is a good thing too, impact ones like that will last you forever but even the standard ones from Supercheap still take a bit of a beating.

I snapped my cheapie Allen key doing this job years ago. Used the short fragment with a ring spanner since.

DONE!

cheers all!

am in country, local hardware store had a heavy duty large set of allen keys, bought, and with long hollow metal extension bar for leverage it came out.

Don't forget to use a thread sealer when you reinstall. :)

very cheers statler.

(soooo much to remember, didn't know) imagine not good to have your brakes unbolt when braking. i suspect.
