are any of the  lj outer door handles better than others or are they all made by the same manufacturer . Just looking for the heads up on who to buy from as the prices vary a fair bit

I would say same manufacturer at a guess, have not used them ,I would rather find a good set of originals and a good Re Chromer if you can.

Dont buy the repro's.

Been meaning to get a few picks of mine and post them up, purchased new a couple of years ago and literally have not left the shed in there lifetime and there #@$^%& already, rusting under the chrome etc.

I have old 40+yo originals in my piles that are in better nick.

To me there's a possibility of the need for someone to do some repro's of a better quality, but i think that the $ invested compared with $ made is the problem here. Which is very disappointing, what are the handles made from ? They're not die cast are they ? Don't why they couldn't even get the manufacturing done where they are & get an Australian company to do the chroming process. Gary.

I'm with Bomber, dont buy repro's. I bought some off ebay years ago and they are crap, nothing like the originals. Cant even remember where they came from, they are still in their bags on the shelf. Get some originals rechromed. Even good originals polished up are fine on a clean streeter.

I brought a set and was more than happy with the fit, appearance and operation. I have since sold the car so can not comment on their service life

Honestly can't remember who I got them off. They're probably all out of the same factory anyhow...

We cut the door handle recess out of the Waddingtons skin & welded in 1 from an original skin in the correct position.
