Hi all, just brought an SS hatchback and only identification is chassis number AXL001590 M is there any way to double check if this is genuine SS as I've tried torana forum and it needs the 14 digit Vin which I don't have? Cheers in advance if any one could help, 👍🏼 #SS #torana

It is now just a hatchback, doesn't matter if it was an SS or a Sunbird without any ID tags. It'll only ever be valued as a hatchback.

If you have proof of the original engine number get onto Ben at Holden Historical Services he could be able to help
he certainly helped me.
