Hi i have a radiator coded:

 

L 9 2809857

 

can someone please tell me what it is for?

Standard LJ 202 (inc GTR). Not to be confused with XU-1.

Is the L 9 a date code?

 

November 69?

The 2809857 radiator also suits LC 2600 (M) and 2850 (M) . So yes, date code L 9 could be November 1969
