trying to fit up an air conditioner in my Lh torana
Looking for some photos of one installed .wanting to see how far out the air vents protruded past the lower dash . thanks Paul

Here's a couple of my factory AC unit in my LH bud.
That's not an LH/LX factory A/Cond unit. That is a genuine GM accessory A/cond which was optional as a dealer-fitted item. It was a custom-built under dash unit which operated independently of the heater/demister system.
The true factory-fitted A/Cond system was fully integrated with the heater/demister system & the cool air exited from the centre vents already fitted to all LH/LX Toranas. The controls were also incorporated into the existing heater controls to the right of the steering column. The flaps & valves etc. were all vacuum actuated similarly to the HQ/BB Statesman type A/Cond.
Both the owners manuals & the LH workshop manual illustrates this system in details.
