Well the inaugural Canberra Torana Nationals have been run and done and congratulations to Laurie and his hard working crew
The Saturday arvo cruise was well supported with a huge line-up leaving the motel and finally arriving behind the old CSRIO, a short walk to the Canberra War Museum of which quite a few took advantage of visiting this National Treasure
BUT 1/2 the fun of going to the Torana Nationals for most was the cruise there and I positioned myself just out of the A.C.T. border for a photo shoot of the colourful parade of Toranas rumbling along the Federal Highway
Robbie just couldn't get the smile of his face cruising in his yummy red Hatch but What is the hand signal coming out the left side fellas Didn't you know that hand signals haven't been used since the invention of blinker lights
Just what you need if you need a lift along the way, a "taxi"
Following close behind was good mate Wayne in his very noice LC
A very recognisable fella from Toranafest
Weren't you told that it was rude to point a finger at some one Todd, and is that a bug on your nose Nah, it's only one on your windscreen
Blue, white, orange, green and brown, a rainbow warrior's invasion of Canberra
Oh My God 350, what's that pushing you from the rear
It's a Grand-Pa car
AND the parade of colourful Toranas kept on coming
Ya suppose to clean the bugs off from the other side of your windscreen
Another phunny hand signal
One thing about our Torana community, when you are stopped on the side of the road, they more than likely will ask if you need help
More to come
RegardSS .... Barry
