G'day All

Good roads and great scenery, what more do you need for a cruise in your Torana  :dontknow:

More Toranas of course and there were plenty lined up at the start of the Canberra Torana Nationals Cruise on the Satuday arvo

BUT what :furious:  me on the roads are traffic lights and toooooooo many Toranas causing a line-up  :spoton:

Saturday-Cruise-2.jpg

And there's another of those Torana drivers who don't how who to use their traffic indicators but still uses hand signals  :wtf:

One other problem is the noises those Toranas make and of course mine is a quiet car  :innocent:

BUT the rumble of those noice cars coming into the car park made this little fella turn around

BUT , what do you expect with this much horsepower under the bonnet

Bugga me, how did that white one slip in there  :wtf:

A short distance away from the cruise parking lot was the Canberra War Museum and is one place you should visit when you are in the A.C.T.

Now, me old mate Wayne, and yes, he is old, well a couple of years older than me, wanted to visit the War Museum so I drove the old fella over there and along the way he mentioned something about wanting a BIG screw  :wtf:

:dontknow:  I wasn't quite sure of what he meant and maybe I didn't hear all that well without my hearing aids in, so I found a BIG screw for him   :spoton:

"G" (for George) we had a great time in the War Museum and only wished we had more time to see every thing

This Vietnam Chopper dramatisation really put you in the picture with the loud "Wop-Wop" sound of the rotors, the wind whistling around your ears and the voice over the 2-way radio

Saturday-Cruise-11.jpg

The small theatre production of the "Battle of Long Tan" made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up

Hope you do not feel too claustrophobic when viewing the midget submarine that entered Sydney Harbour on 31st of May 1942

Thought about strapping a few of these onto my roof to get my way through the traffic on the way back to the motel

Nah, didn't need them

Next, the Saturday night Meet 'n Greet
