LJ Torana steering coupling

About to put a new nolathan coupling in my LJ, is there a correct pattern to insert the bolts...one of my toranas is set up like this...

Nuts on opposite sides

 

The one im about to do has the nuts on the same sides...

Does it matter?

 

Also anything else i need to do...like do the wheels and sterring wheel need to be centre

Never replaced one of these...had some trouble lining up and getting the last 2 bolts connected...do i need to drop anything or take anything out? or is it just the 4 bolts that run through the coupler

Those 4 flex joint bolts that join the 2 coupling
brackets each side i need to put in the new one.
Can these still b sourced .ive looked on gaybay uk but
havnt been sucessful i have a couple of those nos rubbers
and am selling one complete ready to go.anyone had any
luck..

Search " Vauxhall flexible steering coupler" on Fleabay. I got one from OK easily a little while ago

I have a couple buddy..i need the bolts.they are
mushroomed on one side and odd shaped with a nut that
holds the flex metal bracket to it..

the bolt part number is 7196276 

there is a couple of listings but they are old 

i need 1

Yeah there a few bits on there not much though
I was looking at a nos hb viva door skin the other
day for the lj..just needs the handle provision for
put in it £60.00 is cheap .most likely get knocked
about in transportation..

Just a couple Grumps for now..
if i could get the bolts and the metal coupling
brackets cheap enough id do a few and get them
plated as new..i think rares should make the
bolts..even the metal brackets in uk is pricey £20.00 ea
The scarcity of those bolts or prices we have to pay
could be the reason you see most people running those
red Nolathane nothalene bushes whatever they're called
cause they are cheap..
