I thought a survivor had to have original paint?
 

According to that Magazines own rhetoric, "Original paintwork is a very important feature of the car." and "At some stage Survivors have had rust repairs. This is fine as long as only small sections have been repaired."

Another point they raise is "They should also be driveable and safe for road use."  I would have thought that the fact it has no brakes would make it ineligible. 

Nice car though.  I thought I had seen a black A9X with those headlight covers somewhere.

Nice car alright. They could've chosen some better rims, what are those GTS knock offs.

Flairs on such a rare car suck. Torana's look great with them but on this car its a shame, cheers Aaron

They are Tasmans. Very popular in the sixties. You saw them mostly on EKs, and HRs and the like.

I hadn't seen the Keystones before. It looks like the Tasmans are a direct copy, and I would think the Keystones would be less popular here with them being an American made rim. They are both an aluminium centre with a steel rim. There is another thread about the Tasmans in here somewhere.

I know Stuart - he normally runs hotwires on it - not sure if he changed them just of the photo shoot.......
