Apparently longer axles are no problem.

Why advertise them for Gemini? Surely there is a bigger market for Torana and Commodore and WB? And to fit them in banjo too?

This might explain a bit:

http://www.ozgemini....852487af15c2a2b

I actually approached Altra9 with an idea and a couple of diffs and Darren actually took me seriously and prototyped the thing, i tried it out in my 10 second gem coupe and he checked it after a few events and then went into production after a few revisions.

There's actually a thread on here that i started asking if anyone knew if they were interchangeable with banjo or just Small Salisbury as i was trying to get numbers up for the first production run of 15. As it turns out it has been a massive success, he has sold over 70 of them and now tries to keep them in stock doing batch runs every so often. All of them to Gemini guys to my knowledge.

The diff itself is 28 spline aftermarket Borg Warner 78 stuff inside a billet LSD hemisphere. Cone type clutch but has proven bullet proof. I have snapped a couple of pinion shafts but no problem with Darren's gear.

PS one of my mates from Sydney took a similar idea to Bosnjak a few years ago and he turned it down as in his mind there wasn't enough market for it. Same mate took an altra9 centre in to get fitted by him a couple of years later and Terry's eyes just about fell out.

These guys have some good stuff.
I got some parts off them for a rear disk upgrade. Very helpful.
From memory not everything is in the catalogue.
We talked briefly about doing a banjo diff upgrade similar to this in the future.

Yeah Darren is a total champ. He bought out another engineering business last year and has 2x 5 axis cnc rigs plus a whole bunch of others. He's keen to make anything that has a potential market and best part is it's pretty much all made here.
