hi all i have put new top ball joints in a uc torana. The problem is when the wheels are turned left or right the wheel hits the top control arm with 16 and 18 inch wheels it looks like the stub axle needs to go on further .There is a gap of about 10mm  between the rubber and the stub axle. thanks Gary.

Appears BJ94 suits Fords.

Personally I would piss off those ball joints with the nylock nuts and get ones with the original type castellated nuts and split pins.

If possible, take the stub axle and ball joint to Repco, Bursons etc and ask to try the correct ball joint before you hand over any money. That will only cost you time and petrol money.

BJ94 has three boltholes, toranas four.
