Hub to middle of guard is generally more reliable?

I went through this exercise a while ago and spoke to Pedders and Kings and they were able to give me the "loaded height" which was the height from the bottom of the rim to the guard.  I just had to tell them the car and tyre size. Cheers Ron

I shouldve mentioned Im running 14s  and wanted a nicer looking tyre to fill the guards so fitted 205/60 and they rub, worse with the kids in...easy fix to leave the kids at home but social services may have some issues with that...

Now Im thinking easier to change springs and keep these tyres so if someone has King Lows fitted that would give me an idea of ride height so i dont buy new springs that will sit around with all these new tyres  :fool:

Im currently 580mm from the ground to fender

Centre of hub to guard lip is the best measurement

Just for future reference... Kings Lows KHFL-14 on a V8 LX

Centre to guard is 325mm

Loaded height is 226mm @1400lb of load
