G day Guys,

Im middle of fitting whiteline swybar and my sway links are too close to steering rack ends. Please have a look in the photos. Abt 10mm gap..

Is it normal or am i doing something not right..

I haven't ever fitted one so I can't compare but is there contact at any point through full lock on the steering wheel?

Would the gap be less if you clamped the mounting bracket on as in the pic it looks like it is leaning which would push the vertical link further away

Thanks for the reply. I just dumy fit this. Side brackets are tight aswell as sway bar it self. Its gonna hit the links.

Gap should be more between link and the rack end.

They do sit pretty close but I've never had any issues with the boot making contact

edit: you need to install the end link bracket with the suspension at ride height to get it positioned correctly, not full droop

Thanks guys. All sorted. Some reason my bumper bar is not sitting properly. Also i move side brackets left to right. Afetr they line up prity good. And now i have abt 2cm even gaps between link and the rackend.

Now it drives totalley different.

I know nothing about these sway bar set ups but tell me how the bumper bar has anything to do with how the sway bar mounts up?

The RHS you can see in the photo above is attached to the bumper mounts via the angled plate
