Hi guys
1973 Lj 4 door SL
my trim code is 1868-50U

I cannot find this trim in any sites re holden Lj trim codes or other holdens of same era.
I can find 50X
and
50Y

its definately plated 50 U
color is black trim with b/w inserts....with almost a silver hue through it.
def not Houndstooth or herringbone.

anyone else come across 50U somewhere before?
Its not been done later, its as ordered back in 73.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ive looked on the pinned post for interior trim codes, but cant find anything relating to trim 50U.
how do i crack the code to understand how 50U equates to black vinyl/ash raydo inserts.
im having my seats trimmed soon and would like to have as much info to give to the re trimmer guy to help source the original trim.
any help would be appreciated....i can provide photos, but would like to double check and cross reference with others photos etc....to ensure i get original trim correct....more so im bloody curious to learn how to crack the codes and understand a bit more.

yes i know....newby and annoying....but keen to learn.

Hi Nicho, the book your looking for is the TORANA TOUGH BOOK it lists trim codes, color codes an lots of other information for toranas.... the black vinyl is easy to buy but you will have your work cut out trying to find ash raydo... in the torana tough book there is a picture of ash raydo on page 99 an the code 50U on page 92...cheers Rob...
